Kidney Beans Salad

Ingredients:
1 cup cooked kidney beans (rajma), drained
1/2 cup cucumber, finely chopped
1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup red onion, finely minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley or coriander, chopped
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground roasted cumin
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
Salt as needed
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
Rinse and chop the tomatoes, red onion and cucumber into small pieces. Set them aside.
2. Combine the Ingredients:
In a mixing bowl, add the cooked kidney beans, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, and parsley or coriander.
3. Season the Salad:
Pour the lemon juice over the mixture. Sprinkle ground roasted cumin, black pepper, salt, and chili flakes (if desired).
4. Mix Everything Well:
Toss all the ingredients gently to coat them evenly with the seasoning.
5. Serve Immediately:
Serve the salad fresh as a light snack or a side dish to complement your weight-loss meal plan.
