Sweet Potato Chaat

Ingredients:

1 cup cooked and cubed sweet potatoes
1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber
1/4 cup diced ripe tomatoes
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 green chili, finely sliced (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
1/4 teaspoon black salt
1/4 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
Regular salt, as required

Instructions:

1. Cook the Sweet Potatoes:
Boil the sweet potatoes until soft but firm. Peel and chop them into tiny cubes after they have cooled.

2. Mix the Base:
Place the sweet potatoes in a large bowl. Add the chopped cucumber, onion, green chili , tomatoes, onion, and coriander leaves.

3. Season the Chaat:
Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt, red chili powder (if desired), and regular salt over the mixture.

4. Add Lemon Juice:
Drizzle the freshly squeezed lemon juice over the ingredients to add a zesty flavor.

5. Combine Everything:
Toss all the ingredients gently until everything is evenly coated with the spices and lemon juice.

6. Serve Fresh:
Enjoy the chaat immediately as a light, low-calorie snack or as part of a weight-loss-friendly meal.
